Haha...silly boards being down when I came back. I would have caught that Kyo.

Anyways. Jon. Remember the story of Russel? He asked for lots of new shiny things and big meanie monsters just because he wanted to level faster. He was completely selfish in his desires, ergo the gods of Llirrem smote him with smashy things.

Let's put this logically.

Rothar connects to Velgrad a little to the east, actually FURTHER from where it connects to Noslin to the south. If anything, Velgrad should be further/harder/with better supers. But this is Quest, so things don't make sense.

I understand, yes, Velgrad is pretty pointless, but that doesn't mean we should force people to go there. If we want to expand the world of Quest, we should vary things, and give choices, not just make one linear travel. (See a different post to be made when I get back from class!)

I second Kyo's suggestion, on these grounds. Velgrad and Noslin should remain where they are, and if anything, Velgrad should be further away because on the map of Rothar...that's just how it works. Velgrad and Noslin supers will either stay the same, or swap if Velgrad is made further.

Additionally. Something I suggested when I made the level 1-6 rares for the second sprite map ages ago. ITEM EFFECTS. Thank you, Kyo. (See a different post to be made after I get back from class and make the other post!)

No offence whatsoever.... but was Jouser perhaps drunk when he made noslin's coordinates??

i voted to move it all the way up to 11k

Kyo, I hear ya. There ARE better solutions. None as easily implemented tho. Big props to the people who will be able to fight in Noslin without supers when the distance goes out to 11k.

Hooray! im kinda happy to hear this. Not that you may have been drunk, and hey theres nothing wrong with that, but you seem to agree that the co-ords should get changed, and you also agree there would be other ways of doing this better but not as easially... you seem to understand where im comin from Smiley

Easy fixes that would be effective, and not band-aid. Or somthing. Not thiniking too straight after 2 12 hour shifts... one more to go before my 4 day weekend...

Make an island that starts with a "J" So the WoJ can be a reality. Just kidding.  Although it might mean I couldn't train ing Noslin anymore, I support the idea of moving Noslin out more.
