Ok i was wondering somthing...
Go to the lvl 1 mobs outside town. find a low lvl healing spell, and healtrain. Get a friend to message you in a minute, and see how many times you can heal in a minute. Go on, try it!
Try setting the healing spell to a hotkey and press that hotkey instead of clicking the spell...
If one minute is too long try half a minute and double your score.
when you post also post your computer specs... processor type, windows version, internet speed, etc.

ya i was just gonna say that when kyoko posted first...
If you read my other posts you will find that i have a bunch of em related to the preformance of quest on different systems, and that i am looking to buy a laptop, so it makes sense that if a certian type of processor or system preforms superior to others i will try to buy one that has similar components / statistics. Besides i thought it might be interesting.

Okay. I don't have exact specs but it goes a little something like this. On dial-up: ~10 or so hits per minute. Loading times kill me, and the battle bar goes very slowly. On anything else: As fast as I can hit the button. Theoretically in the thousands. The number is based entirely on my finger speed; no loading times, and the battle bar is a flash.

what Azmo said with the 'On anything else' I'm not even gonna try this, because it's not a test of my computer vs anyone elses it's how fast I can press buttons, and it hurts after a while :/ Pentium 4 2.4Ghz on this laptop, 2.2 on the other one and 2.66 on my computer, all on windows XP on methinks a 1gb connection, all run Quest just as fast oh, both laptops have 256 ram, the comp has 768

Remember me being the one explaining my compy in one of your other posts Jon? When I said I didn't have exact specs I was saying I didn't get on Quest and actually test my speed. I've already told you my specs in another post and figured it to be a waste of time, but oh well.
CPU 2.8gig Athlon 64 FX-55, system bus runs at speed of processor. 2gigs of ram, used to be 4. NVIDIA 6600, used to be two of them running SLI. Gigabit SLI ready something or other mobo.

Mine will go as fast as I can hit hte button. Lets figure around 150-180 actions per minute. I set my keys to multiple keys to get a good recognition count. Meaning I had them set to SDF or 3 keys close to eachother and went finger-press crazy. Any system that is 2ghz+ AMD can get this done easily.
Just get something that is decent grade PC and you will get it to go as fast as you can press.... assuming you are on broadband and the server is not lagging.
