Pretty simple. After you've killed, say, 1,000 times, the letters under your sprite becomes red and you get awarded the PK status. That means you can't decline pvp/pk. To get rid of the status, your kill count has to fall below the 1,000 mark by getting killed. The problem is, I don't think your kill count falls when you're currently killed. But if my hunch is right, then it'll work just like clans do when it comes to kill count.

Hmm...reminds me of L2 rules. If you attack someone you are flagged hostile. If they hit you back they are flagged hostile. If you kill someone without them flagging hostile you become chaotic (Chaotic is a state of oddness, teleports don't work like they should, you have a much higher chance to drop items on death, etc. It can only be removed by being killed or by gaining experience to remove bad "Karma") and earn PK ranks. If you kill someone after they have flagged hostile then you earn PvP ranks. But anyway, once you earn 5 PKs and flag chaotic, if you die, you're very likely to drop your equipped weapon, which is easily worth more than all of your other equip put together, along with the increased chance to drop other items as well.

But yeah. I've seen a similar system in action and can say it works pretty well. Sounds like a good idea to me, Kyo.

I have to agree with you guys here...

on Conquer online it even has different effects on your character...

If you PK rarely/once, your name flashes blue for a while, that makes the town guards attack you (for like 9999 damage x.x)

if you PK alot, your name turns red, and when you are killed by another person, you drop inventory items...

if you PK arseloads, your name turns black, and you may drop equipment when you're killed...

not suggesting a system like that ni quest, but i definately agree that the name colors should change

lol. Back on topic...

I think thats an awsome idea... and i believe that when you are PKed your PK count goes down...

Anyways im all for it. Decline is starting to get on my nurves...

HOWEVER, i think your PK count should be added to your Detailed stats so people can moniter how many kills they have...
and if you are skilled enough to be on the top 50 list then your skilled enough to have the Killer status.

Then stop using it Tongue:P:P and what are nurves?

I like the idea too. It would stop people from hiding under that sanctuary spell all the time.  Angry It might even force people to not kill the new people cause they would be afraid of hitting that thousand mark hence making it so they can't use decline themselves.
