I think thats a good idea Dhite, but what if the RP thread the person feels like joining (or at least the story line is what they like) is the one they can't keep up with?  So, I'm not sure thats going to be such a good thing.

Well, Zare, we can't have everything we want...sorry to say.

And kit, I intend to keep Sinchar that way, but if people like this plan, I'll go and make a couple more to experiment with times.

Yea, well, maybe we should post what the worlds are going to be like, and give it a week to have ppl post if they want to join the RP, and depending on who wants to join is how fast pase it is?  Not sure, just trying to throw out ideas now.

I see what you're getting at, but what if we got a reaaaaaaaaaaally fast person, and a reaaaaaaaaaaally slow person? I dunno, something just doesn't feel right about that

Well, I'm not sure, but I'm just trying to throw ideas out that might help.  Not will, just might.  Besides, fast people can go to other RP threads that are more fast pase if they have posted on the slower pase thread, that way they are in the thread, and can still post a lot.

Alright...a general response..to the entire community..which may not be all encompassing..but will sure try. heh.

First and foremost, let me say, that this is from both JackHammer and myself. We have spent a good deal of time following the input from our community for what's wanted and needed here, especially in response to the posting of the 75 word minimum rule.

I'm sure you will all note, that that rule has been removed. Thanks to your input, we realize that that's not realistic across the board. We truly appreciate all of your input, and especially Shiris and Dhite, for the time and energy put into showing us some ideas for what the community needs, and what ideas may work.

But so you know, that rule was prompted out of realizing the potential for spam and other non-contributing posts on these threads. We have the Tavern for chit chat. Please, guys, this is for role play. Follow the guidelines set on each thread. Realize we will still delete spam, regardless of the word count; and know that there is a place where you can talk about anything and everything. This just isn't it.

We have posted a new set of rules in that thread. We split this thread off, so that we can still welcome comments and suggestions, but leave the rules thread for just that..active rules.

Again, thanks from both of us for your time and input...and above all else..go on having fun!

My apologies if this is not the correct place for this post but it seemed the most appropriate of the alternatives.

Would this be an appropriate place to post a story? No I haven't written one yet. I was not considering an RP specifically, just a story, but if people wanted to respond that's ok.

Thank you for your time.

I would think if you want to start a story, or even are considering it and looking for input, go ahead and start a thread for it! Make sure you post a guideline at the beginning, for anything in your mind that is priority in the way/timeframe/anything else you can think of that the posting is done...but absolutely, feel free to start your own thread. Lets keep this one more for guidelines and ideas people might want to see as far as how this part of the forums operates!

Can't wait to see your ideas!!!!!
