Played a Rogue in couple games, always liked them, but Ninja's are pretty cool too. (I picked Rogue)

I like the Rogues better. In WoW you can do cheap shots, back stabs, and poisons.  How about that, Ninjas? A punch to the kidney! |

Rogues are essentially thieves and I like thieves therefore I like Rogues. Plus they were useful in FE8 because they didn't require lockpicks...all those lockpicks really did was break and take up inventory space.

<an explination of Rouges & Ninjas> Rouge = a basic thief, steals random things of value. Main Weapon: Knives. Armor Type: Leathers and Padded etc. Ninja = An Evil Samurai, Left alone during the feudal wars with no benefits of the emperor. Main Weapon: Ninja Swords, Knives, Throwing objects, etc. Armor Type: Thin cloth, leather, etc. <you have a problem with that, complain to history, not me.>  |

Rogues are only better cause of all the bonuses they get. I'd still prefer a Fighter and even better a Paladin Fighter anyday over a rogue.

The problem with most games and Rogues(or thieves in general) is that they make them fairly underpowered... *looks at the FF series* I guess they thought being underpowered was good compensation for the ability to steal things.
Ninja in most games are actually better because of their ability to dish out major damage using a dual weild ability and sometimes their ability to throw things...FFT is the best example of a good ninja that I can think of.

Yea, I have to admite, in FFT I use the Ninja a lot(mostly because I dont need to steal cause of Gameshark codes ^^), but I still love the idea of a duel dagger theif.
