i reckon there should be a witch or something that can burn off all your skill points so you can spend them again but.... it takes 10 levels off your total level and it costs somethinng like 10-50 mill

so if your level 50 and you go to the witch thingy then you would be level 40 and you would have 200 points to spend with a maximum of (level*3) on each skill

so say you're a level 500 elf who wants to insted of being a mage be a fighter then you go to the witch, give her 30 mill she takes all your skill points off and lets you spend them differently

sound good?

and whats wrong with just stopping magic and building fighter skills... why lose what you've already earned? to me the whole point of this game is getting as far as you want in one thing then build another. it wouldnt be as fun to me if i could just reassign points to another skill....

Also slight mathematical error there, At level 40 reassignment should only give you 39 levels of points.
You don't add points at first level.

But anyways. It sounds like it'd be nice, because people have been asking for a way to reassign screwed up points or too much DEF or the like forever, and there is actually a drawback to this method...But eh. I've never had a problem with having 27-ish too many points in DEF, I could be worse off...

It also doesn't make much sense, realistically. A fighter pays a witch, gets a lot weaker, and suddenly he casts spells as well as most any other mage of his calibur. Also, a wizard somehow trades off intelligence to suddenly be as strong as fighters of his level...(Short of Tenser's Transformation, which is temporary. *cough*)

It wouldn't affect me really at all, because the drawback isn't worth maybe 27 more HP, but I support this half-heartedly as long as everyone agrees the penalty matches the benefits and it's done in a way that makes a little more sense.

I have about 400 wasted points myself. A little over 200 def and 201 int points on my fighter (i got greedy with mage sprites). I would love to be able to redistribute those points. Having this kind of drawback to it wouldnt bother me at all.

Short and sweet, every 100 level you get 5 distribute points, say at level 100 you can take 5 off Def and add to Str or summat,
this way it would take a while but by MB's lvl Lexi gets her wasted Points back, we all get Smores and we have a Party =D
