The game periodically exits. I Don't know if it is related to entering or exiting battles but i think it has happened just sitting in town. This, besides the one where it simplies makes the game incapable of reentering after minimizeing occasionally, actually shuts down the whole game. And happens while inside the game only. It seems to happen after I've been playing for so long. I'm not sure how long. But, I think, only after several hours. Not sure what else to say to describe it. It just exits the game. If there is anything you need me to add I will.

I'm running the game on 1024x768 at 160hertz refresh, if it matters, and 96 dpi. I have window XP pro And I'm using it in the SBC Yahoo! browser version 5.03.2.409. And IE 7.0.5346.5. I this a common error? Is the other one common or fixable?

The other one happens when I minimize the game. After a while it disapears from my taskbar and can only be brought back up by taskmanager. When i do it is a small square with no access to the game.

This has happened to me many times before, but i think it was something about whenever quest is disconnected from the master server, it just disappears. See This.

My problem was limewire tended to make things randomly disconnect and reconnect. Try stopping anything else that is connecting to the internet. Close any fileshare programs and download accellerators. Other than that i cant suggest anything else... maybe try a different computer see if u get the same problem. If so it might be a network thing and not just your computer...

Well, I found something else interesting and it might have to do with it(probly not). I noticed when i hit the shortcut for potion heal and then very quickly hit a direction key, usually within miliseconds, it will make battles popup quicker. I wonder if it's causing some bug or server kick. I noticed I do it when I'm leveling fairly intensly. But, I think I've gotten kicked after just doing a first battle also; not to mention just sitting there. So, it may not be it. But i wonder if having done that caused it is it possibly causing too much server lag? Any idea what that is on its own?

If you want to know how I started.. I was having lag after battles alot which is slowly going away. (lag being 2 second pauses) So i would hit the q button (my heal potion shortcut key) and learned I could hit it in the lag and just it would heal when the lag went away and i could continue on. Well, i got used to fighting in this and, so I could try to move as quickly as possible to kill the delay in lvling, I developed this key hitting habit. Now that I'm noticing the delay is going away I'm seeing that I am still using the same key hitting habbits but they are in much shorter time periods and I discovered how I am activating these quick battle sequences.

On top of that it also can happen more slowly. If you hit the directional key slowly afterword, the battle pops up more slowly. If you do it instantly it makes the battle pop up much more quickly. But it still can have an affect. It seems completely preportionate to the time between when you hit the two buttons if you do indeed do it. the instant battle, though, can happen so quickly that you can activate it and it will give you the battle before the heal even affects(and you don't get the heal at all). I wonder if that could have a bad affect on the game.

So, I think, if you notice you are getting battles even relatively faster in generaly it might be from this. Atleast from what I've seen in my short time playing. Even if the battles delay is only a square away instead of where you have to walk around a bit more. If you get it and you pay attention you can tell if it is from this or not after a while also. Or am I seeing things? I'm not entirely sure. Can you repeat this?
