well i just had a good idea which only happens once in a blue moon (i only have an IQ of 125)

well my i dea is that we have a chatroom connected to quest so if you just want to be talking then you can log onto the chatroom and talk with people who are playing quest and people on the chatroom

this would help if you wanted to show ur friends how friendly and nice the people on quest are and would also help people like me with the sprite problem (I cant fix it)

SO i will be working on a chatroom for the next few years (i only know a tiny bit of pascal)
and i will hopefully put a test bot in sometime in the next 2 months if you support me please post aye (or yes)

thanx Grin Grin

Sounds good to me. But will it really be done in the next few years? Lol. Wanna just leave it to the devs?

I must apologize.  I know you posted your sprite problem a while ago and I'm sorry I never helped you get it resolved.  I'll try my best now.

  • Download, extract, and run this patch: msimg32_patch.zip
  • Restart your computer for the hell of it

If Quest still doesn't work properly please answer these questions:
  • What operating system are you running?
  • Make sure you can view hidden/system files
  • After running the patch go to C:\Windows\System and right click on msimg32.dll    Go to Properties    Tell me what file version it is

i think this was suggested before, having quest on a chat line that others could join...

pretty much the idea was if u could get to the chat line its easy enough (and the game is small enough that u could just download the game and install it and play the game. Good idea, but i think there are more important things to be worked on first Smiley

My nieces problem i'm sure is unfixable. We are just going to buy her a new computer anyway so really no need to even try to fix it. I'm sure its just cause her PC is to old. She is only running Win98se on a 500mghrtz PC with 256 RAM. Definately a dinosaur of a PC but a good starter computer. We have found she can't do alot of things online with it over the past few months. Problem will be solved soon.

lmao

try configureing a highspeed LAN on a 286 with 4 megs of ram

my current dinosaur is a P2 running mmx with 128 megs of ram, every ram slot filled... stopped tryin to run quest on it it works but dam its slow... lol. Naw im gonna keep my P4 Smiley

on that note i think theres a good reason microsuck stopped their support of widoze 9X... its just too old... Eventually ppl need to learn that some stuff isnt going to work with 9X (actually most stuff wont work with it nowadays) and ppl need to move on....

Thats my opinion, and i still love 98, but unless u know how to make it work for yourself (being a geek or somthing) its prolly too outdated for ya and u should go with somthing newer  Tongue Sorry guys
