OK, it's about time we revived this board. I'm making this idea up as I go, so...bare with me.
Description: Welcome to Garnath, a city torn in two pieces by Humans and Demons. Some years ago, the Demons launched an attack on the Human city, and there is still fighting going on today. On the human side, the city remains in the same beautiful state as it started in, but on the demon side, the homes have been turned into ruin and signs of war scatter the streets.
Will you be a heroic Human or a devilish Demon?
Time period: Medieval, mostly because I can't imagine Demons in future things that well.

Thos just sat there in the dark corner thinking to himself. No one in there dared to approach him. He looked around at all the humans that started to stare at him, but quickly turned away. Sometimes I wonder why I fight for them. They are pretty much usless, but.... There was a big commotion outside, which made everyone run out, except Thos.

Closing the door behind her Anissa licked her lips cremoving the last bit of blood from them. she smiled and headed down the street her spiked tail waving her. when she reached a larger street she spread her wings which seemed to grow. she soared high into the air and looked down over the city.
she smile evily and flew on looking for her next victim.

Zavell moved silently along the shadows in the Demon part of town, Who was it that the human King wanted me to kill? Oh yes...the Demon warlock, who has managed to stop every assault on the Demons single handedly. Honestly, I couldn't care less about this war. All I want is my pay...
As he moved through the ruins, Zavell eyed several peculiar looking Demons, Some of these guys ARE disturbing to look at, though...sometimes I want to just kill them because they're ugly.

Anissa smiled and licked her lips she flew over the street spotting someone sticking to the shadows in demon half she hovered over silently and smelled fresh blood running through him.

she landed in front of him and smiled

Zavell didn't have time to stay and chat. Instead of stopping, he pressed on at his normal speed and swiped sideways with his short sword, The idiocy of some of these Demons. I don't have time for little distractions like these...
He didn't look to see if the Demon dodged or took the hit. He just continued speeding down the street.

she spun and ficked it wrapping around the sword she yanked.

Zavell simply let go of the sword and kept going, Damn cretin, if I had time I'd finish you. He slipped around the next corner, threw his hands together, and whispered an incantation. His entire body sank into the shadows, unseen.

she coiled the whip up in a flick and picked the sword up.
"mmm not that good a sword." she touched it with her tougue. 2killed enough people though. hmm we'll meet again sir"
she smiled and spread her wings again and took off.

As he approached the top of the hill, Divroc could see a town. One side looked like a normal town, but the other looked like charred ruins. Strange, he thought, I wonder what happened here. As he was thinking, he was already on his way down the other side of the hill and heading for the town.

Zavell emerged from his shadow spell some distance away from where he had run into the Demon. He was still right on track, although now he was only weilding one weapon: a dagger.(I almost wanna stick "He was worried about this, as everyone know daggers aren't as good as swords." right here. ANYWAY!) He crept up to a small ruined building, which was where the warlock was supposed to be hidden.
Here goes!

Divroc proceeded through the gate on the human side of town, Hmm...looks nice enough. I if I can find some info at the inn.
Upon coming across the inn, he stepped inside and noticed it was empty save for the bartender. He went over and asked about the two sides of the city and the bartender explained about the war between the humans and demons. At that bit of info, he slipped the man a few peices of gold. "Thanks," he said, as he walked out the door and into the street. There may be some good opportunities on the demon side of town. He started for the other side of town.

Zavell stealthily climbed a crumbled side of the wall, using missing parts of the building to gain footholds. He managed to reach a window on the top floor, which was only the second floor. After creeping in through the window, Zavell took stock of his surroundings.
The room was empty, save for a broken lamp and a torn chair. There were two doors, one to the left and one directly in front of him. As he started across the room, Zavell detected sounds in the room to the left. He quickly slipped in beside the door as it opened.
"Graaaaah! That was a good nap! Now, let's see what's in here..........what is this? Just a lamp and a chair? Man, this is nothing..." It was a demon.
Zavell smiled and pounced from his hiding place, taking the Demon by surprise and killing it before it could make any loud noises.

Upon reaching the demon side of town, Divroc took stock of his surroundings. Hmm, lots of rubble and ruined buildings. Perfect chance to snatch a few things.
He went into one of the closer buildings and saw little of any value, Surely I can find something good around here, he thought as he searched through desk drawers and cabinets. Maybe not. Feeling a bit disappointed, he left the house and moved on to the next one.

Thos finally left the bar, and looked around. It seems that a demon had tryed to attack the place, but it was quite weak, so the humans took care of it. Thos walked off, not caring in which direction he was going. Finally he ended up on the Demon's side of town, "Hmmm, maybe I should stop by the house."

jason sat in the corner, his sword driping with human and demon blood alike. to him, they were all just targets for his sword to strike down. 'They all took her away and they all must die.' he thought as the shadows passed along the wall. 'theres one now.'

Tidus emerges from the forest to a city that looks nice enough except for half witch looks like a hell on earth he walks to the nice side of town and asks somone on the street whats going on with the place the stranger explains and Tidus walks to the dark half of town Katana in hand ready to fight

Arsia Primavera watches Tidus enter the dark side of the city from the top of the old tavern. She jumps down and lands on the ground with no sound at all and she follows the brave young warrior into the dark side of the city with both blades in hand.

tidus notices behind him there is a person turns around to see a warrior with blades drawn and pulls out his water sword the brotherhood and prepares to fight...

Arsia tries to convince him she is not one to pick a fight and she was meerly coming to warn him of the many dangers on the other side of the border. She keeps her blades in hand just in case he does not believe her and readies herself for anything
