Good idea, but i think we need some more information. How badly are healing spells getting gone? and if you do that, leave the potions have huge numbers, but make it cost more to refill them. Or make it so when you buy more than one potion, you can "merge" them and combine the numbers, so basically instead of buying potions you buy "uses" for the potions.
or, if your lowering the number of uses each potion has, then make the more rare potions have more healing power. so one use of a Spirit Healer could be worth like 20 Elven Wines, but to refill it is slightly less than buying 20 Elven Wines. Complicated? not really. let me explain more
so the more rare a potion is, the more damage each use could heal. and its gonna cost less per point to use. healing spirit - lets say it heals 200 hp, and costs 150 to heal, thats 1.3 gold per hp Elven Wine - say this one heals 10 hp, and costs 20 to refill, thats 2 gold per hp
thats just an example... but the rarer ones should also have a larger capicity, and you should be able to refill X amount at a time.
anyways, thats my opinion...
