i think the forums need to be more organised and un-needed threads need to be deleted. also i think people should not make threads to say that the 'server is down' or 'im a noob i need help' etc because if the server is down i dont think we all need to be reminded at least wait for it to come back and if it doesnt come back try to get in touch with a QO or something. new people should have the common sense to actually read the help guides on the main site (and on this forum i think) and its a waste of space and time filling up the forums with rubbish.

a few people ive talked to agree with me that the forums do need to be tidied. i dont think the people who are moderating and have the repsonibility of keeping them tidy are doing their job very well . i would offer to do this as i have the time to keep them under control and would actually like to... but it doesnt matter, just can a bit more effort be put into them

yeah,I miss the old forums, everything was neat, and newbs wouldnt ask so many questions if they were in the appropriate forum, theres so many you just dont know which one to click on,you need a main one explaning everything really, highlighted in bold ect for each bug/error,rather then 10 minor ones

haha. It's been itching at me too, but I don't want to seem like a loser and delete every topic that doesn't have a definite topic. I would do it but only with an ok from the forum admins.

C'mon, don't be like that. This stuff didn't happen in two months. This board was like this for a while now, haha. I think it was just the PHPBB2 layout that made everything look efficient and all.

Well, I know you all knew that I would have something to say here, so I'm quite sure you won't be surprised.

First off let me say, that I had asked Kyo to take back over the boards, when she decided to come back, and before this little thread. Thankfully for us all, she has agreed, and I couldn't be happier.

That being said, on a  personal note, I find it relatively amusing..that you all think we should be harder on new people who 'should know enough to read the threads', but by the same token..think we're nazi's when we expect veteran players to exercise judgement in game.

I find it amusing. And I find it a bit sad, really. That we're so quick to run off the new people, and so quick to defend the ones that really should know better.

That was just my personal opinion, as I said.

On an administrative note....

Kyo...the board is yours. Do what you do. And thank you, once again, for being willing to do it.

just on a sidenote

old                               new
1 forum                       1 forum
2 parts                        2 parts ( general and official )
7 threads                    7 threads ( yeah we hae some hidden )
kazillion topics             353 topics ( and growing ofcourse )

so it's not more messy as it was
but I'm all in favor of cleaning up Cheesy

Just be glad I exercised restraint and didn't go on a 5-page tirade about my insanely laissez-faire forum moderating policies.  ^_^

They were pretty much the same, really.  I agree with Kyoko...this forum layout is just a bit busier-looking than the old.

lol i have deleted useless topics on the bugs forum a lot of times, u dont know how many "i havent gotten my password" type threads i have deleted because they were the same thing said over and over for example. I try to keep things relatively neat, but havent really "tidied up" in a while. lol

Yeah, I'm a nazi mod. I would even ban people who didn't read the stickys that say "Read before Posting!" and whatnot. Fortunately for you all...I am merely the RP Forum Mod....nominally.

mine look so disorganized here its pathetic. I have the "new "symbol next to almost every thread. Been working to get rid of them all just to make it look neater. Now maybe i wont have to click as many threads to get rid of the little symbol.

unless of course, i decided to continue posting in either whimsical or completely illogical ways, thus making the forums report this to be the thread with a new post, and continually doing it so that no matter what happened, it would somehow alwayws be new
