Hi everybody.

Just started playing and I have to say it's a lot of fun.
The only problem I'm having is that I have a 19" TFT screen with a native resolution of 1280x1024.
Quest only runs 1024x768 and my character can't move if I run at my native res.
It's nice that I can do other things and switch back and forth between Quest, but everything else kinda looks like crap in 1024x768 as it get's scaled since it's not a native res.

So my suggesions is to go 100% fullscreen. It it's a VB Win32 based app, it should behave nicely as it's mostly DX/GL based games that can have some trouble with lost resources etc.
I know that might piss of a lot of people with non-TFT monitors, so maybe you could do an option for the game to run in a regular window. Just something you could turn on in the config or whatever.

Here in Denmark we almost all exclusively use TFT monitors as they are cheap and fast here, so it would be a great option to have.

Thanks in advance

hmm interesting made me look up TFT monitors just to find out about them. Things are 100% full screen it's the ratio being off that causes such problems. Now a window option does sound interesting. Maybe you you should change res get unstuck and change back (though proformance goes out the window then.). I might look to see if there is a Monitor emulator some day mainly cause that sounds cool Tongue.

lol I didn't even mention stream reader/stream writers, GDI and GDI +, or data manaupilation. On topic some what so are those monitors used at terminals and kiosk a lot? Since it's made for one res.

A windowed option would definately be nice, but i think there may be an easier way to make your char not be stuck at different resolutions...

make the default starting pos be a selected coordinate and make the map be based off the coords. that way you always start on the ground no matter what your resolution is.

Dont know the magnitude of the coding needed to do this, but it could work. maybe in the next version Huh
