Hey everyone, I am working with a partner on a game, here's the little info I put together so far on it:
----------------------
"Brainsss is a persistent browser-based text game. It incorporates some of the best elements from many genres in an effort to bring you a new and unique gaming experience.
In Brainsss you are the brain of a Zombie! As a brain you will be taught the ability to take over a Human Host body and infect it with your own Zombie Brain, giving you complete (or partial) control over it and making it your own.
Your options in Brainsss are almost endless! You can grind out fighting if that is your thing, but you also have the Neverending Maze and The Junkyard to give you multiple ways to quest however you choose!
Take a break from questing in the casino! From blackjack to fighting, it will provide some much needed R&R for the weary zombie!
Brainsss offers a guaranteed minimum of 6 major content updates per year, ensuring that players will always have something new to do!
The first year will see the addition of PvP, Cults, Skills, Hemphill (first town), new creatures, Bosses, Land, and more!
Brainsss is currently scheduled for a mid-spring 2011 Beta launch and is rated (M) for Mature (ages 18 and up)."
-----------------
and the introductory storyline so far:
"The year is 2050. At least that's our best guess. Nobody knows for sure, all we know is about 10 years ago everyone "woke up" with somewhat limited memories. We all knew who we were, had our basic skillsets we acquired throughout life for the most part, but no one had anything except very vague memories of "teknowledgy". We could almost recall this thing being part of our everyday life, but there was said to be no evidence of it anywhere and over the last decade most had come to believe it was only a dream.
There was no time to dwell on dreams and distant memories? anymore though, not in Hemphill. After we all woke up, Hemphill is where we first set up camp and tried to restart from what we could remember.
Then the zombies started showing up. No, I'm not crazy, I know how that sounds, but that is the only thing to call these bastards. They are as advertised for the most part, slow and dumb, but I have seen a couple exceptions. I swear once I saw... intelligence. No one believed me though and now I sit in Hemphill under watch for the Infection, trying to write down the events as accurately as I can in case anyone ever finds this.
Some of them are smart...very smart and fast. I have to go now and meet a new doctor who showed up from somewhere else (more settlements??), he is supposed to have a possible cure for the Infection, but I'm not sick...

All Quester's will get a nice boost in game of course! Any and all input is welcome
