He was NOT proven guilty in a court of law. The amount of proof was lacking, therefore, he was let go. There is no way you say you don't get this scholarship because of the POSSIBILITY you did this. Even though he obviously did, it cannot be proven.
I don't agree with him being let go = lack of proof. It could also = favors called in. His dad IS Cris Carter, a damn ohio legend.
Also, tressel claims to be all about instilling character and values in these kids. that alone is grounds for pulling the scholly if tressel honestly thought this kid was a molester. I would use the same ? I used when people asked me if the Tat 5 should play in the bowl. depending what side of the fence you are on, you can just ask yourself, "What would Bo(or Woody) do?" You really think EITHER of them would let that kid sniff either turf? I HIGHLY doubt it.
