The forested island of Xim

[Hrothgar]

(this takes place far from civilization at least human ones might run into a few elven villages, takes place deep in the woods, many monsters, umm not in the future, more medievil, we are searching for the legendary Epirn Monster that is supposed to dwell in the forests)

Percan slowly walked though the woods keeping a keen ear for any noises out of the ordenary. After a long time he finds a nice clearing to take a break and meditate. He just sits there in the scilence.

[Aeric]

Val drops in on his seemingly unsuspecting guest, eager to play with him. Standing about three feet tall, and seemingly as feeble as a limp noodle, the young halfling approaches the occult man.

He goes to kick him in the face.

[Kittyana]

Hyuse watched Val from the tree's dropping down beside him
"val stop that! mother told you not to mess with strangers!"

[Hrothgar]

Percan grabs the foot when it is inces from his face with out even opening his eyes. He slowly twists the foot untill he hears the person fall to the ground. He then gets up and opens his eyes. Seeing it was nothing then a Halfling he sits back down again and says Hello.

[Aeric]

Brushin himself off, Val sets his angry face and bounces up and down at his sister.

"Aw, you're no fun! And look, you gave away my posititon!"

[Kittyana]

Hyuse smiled at her little brother.
"Val, a ogre culd have heard you a mile away."
Hyuse being a lot taller than val looked at him.
(shes only half halfling and the height of a human.)
she walked over to the man.
"forgive my brother. he's ... young."

[Hrothgar]

Hrothgar slow surveys the halflings and says Arn't you two a fiesty bunch, is there any more of you i have to look out for?

[Kittyana]

"not around here. I'm just babysitting. our village isn't far though."

[Aeric]

Val sneered at his sister, listening to a conversation he refused to lead...

[Kittyana]

Hyuse smiled. without lookingat her broher she teased.
"if the wind changes your face will be stuck like that."

Scrappy then swung down from the tree he was sleeping in, a few trees a way from where he heard two halflings arguing.  Being half fox/half wolf, he easily and skillfully landed on the ground without a sound and quickly hid behind a tree as to not be seen by the three humanoids he had been watching.  Shorter than most of his Lupine brethren, he was only about 4 and a half feet tall, but had always liked to fight and craved adventure, and so had left his village a year ago to explore the world on his own.  Upon seeing the shorter halfling about to attack the first person he had been watching, Scrappy had jumped down to possibly join the fight if one started.  Since one did not start, he hid again and slowly watched the group from afar, curious as to where they would be going next.

[Hrothgar]

Percan looks at the bikering halflings and says Why don't we become more properly aqanted my name is Percan Magebeard, Wizard/Sorcerer extrodinare... well not yet, but after i kill the monster i will be!
With that he looks twards a bush where he thought he heard something. but nothing was there so he just ignored it.

[Zare]

Kiris walked down a path in the road.  He didn't know, or even care where the road went.  As he walked, he heard some people talking.  He just ignored them, and kept walking.

[Kittyana]

Hyuse smiled.
"well I'm Hyuse and his is my silly little brother Val."
she messed up Val's hair smiling.

Scrappy had climbed up the tree and started quietly leaping from branch to branch to get closer to the conversation until he was in the tree right next to where the 3 people were talking.  Now able to hear what they were saying, he made sure he was well hidden and then continued to watch the scene unfold.

[Zare]

Kiris, being sharp eye'd, noticed something in the trees near the people.  He didn't like talking much, so he continued on his way.  Finally, as he reached the top of the hill, he could see a small town.  "Are those halflings?  Great, a town full of midgets."  Kiris started walking down the hill toward the town thinking:
Well, if I decide to destroy the place, at least it will only be halflings.

[Kittyana]

Hyuse smiled. Her ears could pick up anything.
she heard several people around her. she grinnedand tried to pinpoint thier exact locations and build.
she looked at val and gave him a small nod telling him people were around.

[Hrothgar]

Percan looks at Hyuse and said Well Hello My name is percan and Hello to you Val. oh and Val be more quite next time maybe you can sneek up on me.

[Aeric]

"Ah, not you too! Damn, I need to be more cautious. I hate it when she's right!"

Val kicked the dirt, and promptly fell on his behind, knocking some of the beaten earth upon his head in a small cloud of sand and dust.

Percan laughs at the sight of Val falling and wispers to hyuse did you hear some thing too?
