In 2008 Michigan passed its Medical Marihuana Act by a whopping 63% of the vote. Earlier this year I got my doctor's reccomendation and have been visiting dispensaries for about a month now. I can grow 12 plants and possess 2 1/2 ounces of dried usable medicine. I'll be up to a full 12 plants, all clones, next weekend. Here is my starting crop so far, enjoy! White Widow  Blue Hash  Couch Lock  Genesee Purple  |

No new pics but my crop now includes: Genesee Purple Couch Lock Blue Hash White Widow Chronic (The original blend Dre rapped about) G-13 Purple Haze Haze Skunk Master Kush This weekend I am adding 2 Blue Dreams and 1 other one... then my 12 will be complete! What a great Christmas and New Years this is going to be. |

As stated, it's still a federal offense. Federal law supercedes state law. So state and local authories can arrest/press charges, all federal agencies can. So may not want to "appear". To be bragging just incase. Always better to be safe then hoping Billy Bob smuggled some lube in for shower time.

Yeah federal law is the top law, but out local sheriff supports medical pot and the local drug police, FANG (Flint Area Narcotics Group) has been stopping some people leaving one dispensary, but only to check that people were under the 2 1/2 ounce limit. They made a big bust in Oakland county last week, south of me. It looks to be the test case for the courts so everyone else is staying at status quo until they see what happened. And good luck finding my plants, this forum is as close to "on the grid" as I get. |

Federal Law only supersedes state law under federal investigation. State law has the power to modify most federal laws as they see fit because it is considered implied laws, not direct laws.

My plants are really BEAUTIFUL now. They will start the flowering stage this weekend. I have to transplant the Genesee Purple, Blue Hash and Couch Lock into 18 gallon buckets this weekend, they outgrew the 5 gallon ones, just a big ball of roots now. |

Mmmmmmmm.... 10 of 12 plants are now harvested, only Couch Lock and Purple Haze are still growing. Learned even more than I thought I would from my first grow... It's obviously way harder than just putting some seeds in dirt. Still, I had no deaths and only 1 hermy, which I caught fast and got it out of there before the pods popped. Once it's all said and done I should have roughly a pound from my first grow, spread out over various stages of drying and curing. Drying and curing is the key, don't skimp at all on any part of this step, it is just as important and growing and genetics. My first batch will be fully cured right around December 10th, my harvest party is December 12th. Too lazy/stoned for pics... just imagine piles of good, seedless bud! I will be setting up a perpetual harvest now, but it will be a few weeks before I have any pics of that setup. I should be harvesting a plant every 3-4 days under the setup though. |
