Dhite kept rushing forward until the archers finally backed off, "We must be getting close..." Just as he said that, the area around them seemed to ripple until houses and pathways began appearing in the trees. Any trace of miasma was held out by a large barrier. Dhite turned to his companions, "Welcome to my village."

Dhite snapped around and caught a javelin that was aimed at his back, "..."
"You don't belong here! Go away!" A villager said, "You betrayed the village!"
This brought out more villagers until a small mob was calling insults.

Dhite shook his head, "You don't need to worry about it...this is what I get." He slowly approached the mob, and they stepped back every step he took. They considered him dangerous.

Dhite took another step and the whole mob moved again. Another Javelin came flying at him, which he instinctivly caught, then threw it aside, "Let me through!" He took another step.

Dhite signaled Choccy to be quiet before taking another step. Finally, the mob disbanded as an old elf approached, "Dhite Okagra, you have been banished from this village! Why do you return?"

Almost as if they moved as one, a flurry of javelins flies over from behind the mob, all spreading out and then coming down on Dhite. Manuvering quickly, Dhite brought up the Enkidu and slashed down most of the javelins with his elven sword magic, "C'mon, I'm not gonna leave."
The elder gave a stern look, "Why do you insist on coming here?"
Dhite smiled, "Mostly for some information, but I also need to redeem myself..."
The elder raised his hand and more javelins raised above his head, "I have had enough of your behavior..."
Suddenly, an elvish girl breaks through the mob and stands in front of the elder, "Leave him alone!"

the girl caught her by surprise...
she'd have to tease dhite afterwards about this... if they got out...
