The auction house has been pretty empty for a while now, especially at the low levels. While not the best solution, perhaps just removing the time limit could help the situation. Would leave more gear up for those of all levels.

I agree... the items put in the AH are intended to stay until someone purchases them... why bother with the time limit?

I would assume it's there to stop people from flooding the AH with ridiculously priced items....which on a game where flooding could conceivably be a problem makes a lot of sense, but on a small game like Quest I say to hell with it, down with time limits!

I thought about the flooding thing, but what is to stop someone from doing it now? I mean with a 30 day window it seems like it would just about be the same thing. I just know that the AH is bare for almost all levels. I have gear that id like to put on the AH but I know that nobody will be high enough level to use it for at least 30 days, so it would just sit there. Inversely, when I find lower level gear I feel is worthy of the AH, I put it on the AH, if it doesn't sell in 30 days I just shop it instead of paying to put it back up. Id imagine a lot of other folk do the same thing and that is gear that someone eventually might want to buy.

I don't remember there being a problem with flooding items on the chick; and she had no time limit.
Plus, I know 30 days is plenty of time to make gold to buy an item, but I for one, look to see what I want then go to make the gold.
If it's close to its time being up, I'm not going to waste my time waiting for the person to get online to buy it from them if it's been removed before I make the gold.

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
