Siphoning

Siphoning seems to be off a little bit, not always taking the full amount it should. For example, I had a level 219 uncommon that I wanted to siphon. I went into the store with exactly 219k, which is what it should cost at 1k x item level. I siphoned it successfully into a jewel, yet had 21,900 gold remaining after it was done.

how is it a bad thing that its taking less than it should???

Did the opposite to me, went in to try 2 jewels after the first a message popped up
saying "something ain't right here, try again the jewel was on the item but twice
as much money was taken 686000 rather than the 343000 it should have taken,
very strange.
