Something had (would love to be able to say has) always bothered me with the linear success rate with increasing rarity. It really doesn't fit well with curve of finding jewels or getting higher rarity items to siphon. An increasing difference between success rates should be present when you factor that in.

you are suggesting commons should be easier to jewel than rares? hmm...
