I find that the Witch is something that new players ask about so here is a brief explanation of her function. Ill start off by showing those who don't know where exactly the witch is located, then explain what she does.

One of the main functions of the Witch is to change a player's sprite if they meet the requirements listed here-http://www.questrpg.org/forum/index.php?topic=2768.0. These sprites take some time and effort to gain so don't be discouraged if you cant change right away, it is a fun goal to work towards. I would like to note that the frog sprite is available to all players of any level but be warned- If you switch to the frog sprite and don't have the requirements for any other sprite you may get stuck as the frog, so beware!

Another function of the Witch is to move stat points around. For a price of 20k per stat point you can rearrange some of the points you have spent when you level up. The 20k is compounding however, the game remembers how many points you have moved and it keeps adding on. So moving 1 point would be 20k, moving 2 points would be 60k (20k for the first point, 40k for the second) and so on. The price keeps compounding so it can get pretty expensive. When you have swapped stats before, the price can go down over time. Once weekly (11:59PM EST on Sundays) the witch will "forget" one of the stats you swapped, lowering cost by 20k. If you have swapped 10 or more, she forgets 2, 15 or more she forgets 3, etc etc. (20%). If you have swapped less than 5, she remembers 'em all.

The stat swapping can be useful for people who felt they have wasted a few points or for people looking to get the most out of their build. Fighters may find they want as little int as possible and choose to move points from int to str, while mages may decide that str is useless for them and they want to move a little to int.

The last function of the Witch is to reset skill points. Each time you level up you receive 2 skill points which you can then spend in any of the skills. If you decide to change your mind about how you want to build your character or wish to use a new weapon class, the witch will reset all the skill points you have spent and let you reassign them. For a list of prices for resets, consult this topic- http://www.questrpg.org/forum/index.php?topic=2726.0
