I'm with hoya on this, Rayn... David Bowie is no where near the best singer. Robert Plant is one of my favorites because of his original style/creativity(for his time) and individual sound. Freddie seems to be everyone's favorite since he is obviously very famous even in death for his vocal prowess. However, my vote is cast for Brad Delp because he is my favorite rock vocalist as far as the combination of talent, skill, and creativity goes.

Take your pick.

Tony Kakko (Mid Tier)
Tobias Sammet (Mid Tier)
Maynard James Keenan (Mid Tier)
Robert Plant (High Tier)
Jorn Lande (High Tier)
Hansi Kursch (Godtier)
James LaBrie (Godtier)
Freddie Mercury (Godtier)

Before I go on forever, I'm just gonna say Eric Bloom.

Funny, everyone names off all these "names" that everyone else names off....

My favorites (so I think they are the best) are:

Randy Blythe and Sebastian Bach. (Totally opposite, yet both impressive... and my favorite is Randy's voice.... jesus)
