*SOLVED* Black screen as soon as signing in game

I'm glad the quest server is back up and running but I cannot play the game. It was running fine before this last crash. As soon as i sign in everything loads up except for the map. I have tried reinstalling the game and it still doesn't work. Its not my graphics either. I have not installed anything new in this computer for months so none of the graphics setting have been changed or altered either.

**I spoke to someone in game who stated that Ohric mentioned having the same problem that I am having. I'm told that it fixed itself and that Jouser was on at the time. I'm also told that Ohric may have spoken to Jouser about the problem. Hopefully that helps. I don't know if Jouser fixed the problem for Ohric or if it actually fixed itself but either way....

Okay I can walk around and fights load. I just don't have a map. This includes the Mini-map which is also black.

****Solved**** After going as far as testing my graphics and reinstalling the game Fingolfin suggested restarting the PC. It worked. LMAO I wish I had tried that earlier.

This is happening to me right now although I cant fight mobs but I can still walk around, I just restarted and reinstalled and its still doing it.

Edit. My mini map works I figured that out by walking north for awhile, I can can see the bottom part of the dungeon map in the mini map. I dont know how i got warped into the abyss but im there o_0

Edit. I just created an alt and he works fine.

Did you restart the computer or quest? I had to restart the Computer to fix it.

I restarted computer a few times and reinstalled quest a few times lol.

Got fing to PK me and that put me back in town but i was still at (-2000,-2000) so that didnt work. Then I finally got into a mob battle and let it kill me and that worked.
