Umm, Alt+Tab doesn't help. I want to KNOW when my IMs get messages. And with different IMs opened, I get a lot of different sounds, which I disable. And without seeing the flashing bar in the startup toolbar, I don't know when I get messages. Alt+tabbing after every 2 fights is not sensible. Before you could force Quest into window mode by placing -w after the shortcut. Since that doesn't work anymore, it's kind of annoying.

Bring Window Mode back please.

When you get a message, it should show in the lower right corner, a message will show up showing the first few words of the message, does so for me, anyways.
But it also, when I use the minimize button on my IM from yahoo, quest goes away, I stay logged in, but I have to crtl alt delete and log off. So I have to minimize it from the tool bar.

I've had this for a while, and use it much of the time with Quest, so, I see no harm in it...

A while back I rewrote and updated Jon's MoveQuest windowing program a little bit:
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?i4mz2my2nzn

I used a few different functions, but, if the old version used to work, this version should work out acceptably. Sometimes, due to resizing, the map will be a bit buggy, but, after relogging or using a warp, everything should be fine.

Just as a note, though, I've compiled with ANSI, and I don't believe I've used any new functions, so, it should work on windows 9x systems. You'll also need admin privileges to run the program. Also, I've not really tested it all that much, since it really does a simple task.

Hugo, Tizoc, Zangief, Birdie and Juzoh join forces with The Juggernaut to create... THE SUPER AWESOME RAINBOW FORCE!!!

Thanks, it's working a treat. I just port to- and port back from town and everything works fine. Thanks again! Although having a built-in function to minimize Quest would be better yet.
