Massachusetts just passed a state law to decriminalize the possession of marijuana of under an ounce to a system of civil trials eliminating criminal prosecution for marijuana users.

Michigan just passed medical marijuana. Those with scrips can grow 12 plants for personal use and have up to 2.5 ounces on them.
