I dont know what exactly is planned for future versions, but i have an issue with the tweaking of some of the items. One good example would be lvl 9 armors. As far as i can tell there are 4 of them- Dragon Pelt, Mithril Plate, Cloak of Magi, and Wizardry Robe.

The cloak of the magi, despite its impressive 400 base int mod is rendered entirely worthless due to its 150 power. There really arent any people who can afford to take that kind of hit on def, I suppose you could compare it to the lvl 8 zerkers, but I think the zerkers was designed better. The zerkers has the same armor power as other lvl 8's, 220, but has -270 def. With the jeweling system you can at least attempt to mod some def on to it, 6 good jewels and it could be back to positive def. The cloak however would take 80 quality jewels to give it the same power as a regular 9 armor.

As far as the other 9 armors go, the Wizardry Robe and Cloak of magi are both mage specific armors, focusing on mage mods. The mithril plate seems to be the warrior armor as it doesnt have base mage mods. However the dragon pelt has base dex and int along with a random mod. Why is there only one pure warrior armor among the 4? Warriors have no use for the wizardry robe or Cloak, and the dragon pelt has a base int mod. Im just wondering if it should be evened out to have 2 warrior and 2 mage armors. If anybody else wants to comment or bring up something ive missed, feel free

Fings right of course but in my opinion there is 1 Warrior, Mith Plate and 1 Mage, Wizardry Robe the other 2 are next to useless
with the current game play. They would make decent 8s but are 9s

There was a time that the pieces fit
But I watched them fall away
Mildewed and smouldering
Strangled by our coveting
I've done the math enough to know
The dangers of our second guessing
Doomed to crumble unless we grow
And strengthen our communication
