everyone keeps guessing, can we get answers? Do halflings get increased rare finds? WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE STRENGTH SPRITE!!?!?!?!?  |

Yeah, I heard from someone that Jouser was on Quest and allegedly said Halflings only get increased normal finds... which is disappointing to say the least, but makes sense.. assuming that it's true, that is.
So, um... STR SPRITE FTW WTF

i do get more drops with my halfling than i get with my dwarf, so i already thought halflings got more drops.

any word on the str sprite?
Minerva tried using a PoR to get the STR sprite and was unable to do so. He said he had over 2k STR. Don't know why it wasn't available. I'm thinking that its got to be based on defense reduction percentage. |

I don't understand why the str sprite got singled out from all the other ones to be sooo hard to get when they changed def originally anyways. :p
Seriously though, with 2k+ str AND a PoR, that should be overkill for any sprite requirements.
Shouldn't it?

I have a tip for you
Ask the NPCs, the halfling information has been on the NPC in the dungeon for a while now, if you have any questions, try consulting them first, everyone seems to have forgotten them.

well joundill, the npc's are horribly out of date and not exactly accurate... Halflings do get increased non rare finds but not rares. As far as the str sprite goes i think jouser/dlorak just hates us

Halflings do get increased non rare finds but not rares. You must not have read a few posts above you fin where jouser clarified that halflings DO get the bonus on rares as well. But yes, npc's in game are NOT a good source of info. |

last i heard he said they didnt, but oh well, im pretty sure the devs have absolutely no idea on many actual gameplay issues, they still cant seem to figure out what they did to the str sprite

Well, they never actually answered us there.. I'm thinking you have to have a PoV or better with full spidey because only then can you get 50%+ reduction The str was never an issue  I had well over 2k base before putting on the PoR |
