since im too lazy to search for the portal suggestion thread, i made this new thread to suggest my idea.

you know how people suggested portals going from llirrem to velgrad and noslin? well my idea to add to that is to have npc/monsters guarding the portals that u must fight to use the portal, and that the monster/npc's strength is equal to the weakest monster on the map the portal belongs to. That way, if u cant beat the monster, then u shouldn't be allowed to use the portal, and if u lose nothing bad happens except having to heal ur hp.  it can be set up sort of like the current npc duels, since when u lose a duel against them u dont die, u just stay where u were with what little hp u had before u lost the duel and have to heal urself to be back to normal.  of course if u win the fight, they let u use the portal.

that might be a little hard to code, but it was just an idea i had and i thought i'd share it

Shiris once made us run from Llirrem to Noslin and timed us.
She then replied the time was so little we should not complain about walking Sad

If I had knew that I would have walked v   e   r   y   slowly Smiley

i'm not complaining about the walk to noslin, that's the easy part, it's walking up the mountain to my training spot that gets me, can we have a portal from llirrem to the top of mount noslin? ^^

Even better, let's bring lvl 8 monsters to town, so you don't have to walk at all...    -_-'

yeah, i think its pretty obvious that the combination of the avatar and the text under the avatar is calling u a dummy Tina, at least when it comes to Dungeons and Dragons anyway, lol.

its funny to see a girl giggling while she hurts some1 though

Ya know... After starting to train on the 52Ks everyday, now I can see what you guys mean, lol. It's not even the walk, it's just the encouters every half step you take. Then you start getting annoyed and just panic to your spot, but with all those fights you ran from, one of them could've been a super. :\

*nods at kyok* I know we shouldn't be complaining, because all those fights are still xp and it's not like they're that much of a lower lvl or anything...but it just bugs me.

i dont fight 52ks, but i do have to deal with the encounters every 2 steps to get to my training spot in noslin though. its really annoying to have to fight like 10 times to move like 2 inches on the screen
