As if he ever would have won. People know better than to vote for someone with good intention and 0 experience doing anything not-satirical relating to politics.

Plus, we've had black candidates before like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Carol Mosely Braun, who got nowhere, so obviously there's more to Obama's candidacy than just being a black.
They did not have the support of a desperate party behind them grasping for any chance of increasing their odds of wining.  The fact is no matter who they chose they were going to run into the facts that I already pointed out.  Why do you think their last 2 candidates to choose between were a black guy and a woman?  It wasnt because they were most qualified, it was because they were trying to figure out who would get the most votes.  Unfortunately they realized that women are more likely to vote for whoever they think will do best, regardless of gender and that blacks will vote for a black because... he's black.

Obama is way ahead in the delegate count, winning or tied in all the battleground states, looks like the country is going to die according to some of you. Guess you'd better move to another country before its too late!

Dole led Bush 51% to 40% at the same point in the race back in 2000. Polls shouldn't be used for decisions. Polling is a ridiculous way that people use to push their views onto the public.

One person can say 2 different things and believe both, depending on how the polls are written.

I might be changing my vote to a write-in protest vote. Both these people talk of "change" yet they both are the same old politician. Blah blah blah, repeating themselves for 20 weeks, hardly ever directly answering anything, and playing politician. They both promised a clean campaign and both have run horribly negative campaigns with Obama setting a record for the most ever spent on negative campaign ads. (Mccain is no slouch in this department either)

TD in '12.

Bob Dole says that Bob Dole didn't run in 2000.
