Maybe could be implemented next version after all the good stuff.

Add an F2 option or something in the config where you could set your resolution.

Just a thought :p

i assume you mean have the map display to fit your screen (instead of those hidious black borders)...

quest used to have the map display full screen, and this worked fine when everyone used 1024 x 768

however now with widescreen and fullscreen at many different resolutions, there was a problem with players not showing where they were supposed to, for instance logging in and being stuck in the bush surrounding town.

to fix this, Jouser made the map stick at the size it would be at 1024 x 768.

i have put forth that quest be a window (or have a window option) and the window be 1024x768 and if your screen is larger you can have quest on one side and, say, IM windows on the other.

I have put out a prog called movequest to resize quest to the 1024x768 window, the older one on the forums might still work, not totally sure (theroetically it should, nothing changed that should effect it, except maybe one thing, but i dont think that will hurt it)

as far as having the map scale to fit the screen again, sure that would be cool if they could fix the problems we had before, but personally i would rather see quest windowed to allow us with larger screens to multitask easier Tongue

goo windows mode lol!  Cheesy i also like doing things simultaneously like when playing ps rpgs i used to put the game in the pip (picture in picture) mode when i'm lvln. And similarly to previous mmos that had windows mode ^^. I would also like to be able to do that with quest hehe
