LOL

well there could be some places, like dungeons, that increase the drop rate of everything.

but have those mobs drop everything, rares, nonrares, everything. maybe 25% easier to find something.

and i keep saying when a mob of whatever level, say a lvl 8, drops an item, it should go something like this:

random chance for mob to drop a item determined by the mob's lvl
chance its a super rare (1:250,000)
chance its an accessory (1:120,000)
chance its a rare (45% chance its a current level rare, 25% its one level lower, 10% two, three, or four lvls lower)

heres the drop rates i propose for items
lvl   Drop rate
1   1:200
2   1:1500
3   1:5400
4   1:12100
5   1:22300
6   1:39300
7   1:62900
8   1:93800
9   1:129000
accessories   1:150000
super rares   1:177700

as soon as one of those

5.0 has adjusted rare rates:

*rare drop rates adjusted... 3's-1/1000, 4's-1/1500, 5's-1/2000, 6's-1/3000, 7's-1/4500, 8's-1/6500, 9's-1/9000.
*new accessories-only drop rate added for rare accessories. 1/3000 for 4's. 1/4500 for 6's, 1/6000 for 8's.

Your suggested rare rates seem a lil harsh, Jon.

and i keep saying when a mob of whatever level, say a lvl 8, drops an item, it should go something like this:

ok, maybe its a LITTLE harsh, but not much.

rares are supposed to be rare, right?

let the shop sell common items, but when EVERYONE AND THEIR DOG has 8's, thats too much. and now your making it EASIER to get rares? that, in my opinion, is the opposite way it should be. how can there be any demand if the supply is soo high?

take a look at the number of fights someone whos active can put down in a week. then calculate the average number of rares they will find. Its excessive...

Scrolls... Again lets see if we can get something working first. Maybe a blacksmithing skill could be raised to the point of getting better than 90% success. Ideas Ideas  Wink

I know we can get up to 95% success rate now but a blacksmithing skill to get u to 100% success rate would be very nice Cheesy
