So, after 4 days of pretty serious leveling, I wanted to switch things up, using a keyboard profiler to make 3 4 5 and 6 all act as T (my attack button) while scroll lock is on. I asked MB about this, but this is against the quest constitution, I think, I didn't get a real clear yes or no answer. Now then, on to my gripe about what's wrong. Ranged, bow and throw, characters get 2 attack functions in the game already. I think that this is somewhat unfair that we who use or only have access to good melee type weapons only have 1 key to press, which is slower (alternating key presses between 2 fingers on 2 buttons is faster) and causes more stress on your wrist. Granted; I know playing a lot does not help with stress on your wrist, and also granted a lot of people might not be able to see the difference strictly due to their computer's performance pressing 2 buttons at the same time.
Ok, the suggestion. Either abilities and attack should be bindable to multiple keys (like mages and ranged users can), or multiple bind slots should be available for melee attack.
(along those lines) a less important suggestion and something to think about implementing, attack types and benefits. bind stab, faster attack 20% less damage. Slash, normal speed, 100% damage. Crush, slower speed 15% more damage. Bow, Normal speed 100% damage, throw slower speed 10% more damage. something like that, of course this would be null if noob's idea of implementing int and dex onto items takes off.
