Everything was fine last night.
wake up this afternoon, try logging on quest, no problems, see a new message about a new client, think thats cool mebbe later. Go to fight a mob. Battle wont load. Relog several times, battle wont load. Try on my neighbors wireless. wont load. try on another computer, on cable, DSL, and wireless, wont load.
Downloaded the new client, nothing worked. Randomly one mob battle loaded, tried repeating everything on the other computer, still wouldnt load. the computer i was at wouldnt load mob battles anymore either.
Tried downloading the full new version for quest. New config, etc. Didnt help. Tried pinging the server, nothing went through.
Jouser, you got a firewall or something that im guessing is blocking the mob battles for some people....
i mean, thats the only thing i can think of. Its not only me with mob battle issues, lots of other people have the same problem.

Jon, you're too quick to jump to conclusions.
I can see what he means however... Independent of the client I use, it appears as if the battles don't load. Characters, Clients, method of logging in, none seem to affect the problem stated here. Since it seems to happen to different versions of the client, that might imply server end issues...
I can only assume (more than assume, as I read the chat) that this is happening to more than the only two posters here thus far.

happened to fing as well...
My mobs would load roughly just after MB logged out.. So im thinking 16 connections on the quest server are to many, and thats causing the problems?

Okay i signed on as Alexis and started fighting. Everything was fine until Perin told me he's been trying to fight all day. So i logged off my name and hopped on his. He still couldn't fight. I signed off and back onto Alexis. Then I couldn't fight. TheAlcard said he got it working by logging out and back in then PVP Duelled an NPC. I figured I would try it and **Boom** I can fight again. Definitely Odd.

I confirm, i dueled demorte, got killed, and poof mob battles work.

I waited until there were 9 people other thasn me online, then I relogged. it's been working ever since.

It' still not fixed. When you first load the game and go to fight the battles won't load. Relogging then Dueling an NPC makes it work still though.

If you flee from a fight using a spell then the battles stop loading, relogging and dueling a NPC seems to fix it.

I just tried the NPC duel method. It fixed it so I can battle, but the mob sprites are gone. This doesn't cause a big inconvenience but I thought I would report it.

By the way, I can fight normally. The only thing different is I can't see the mob.

Battles not loading
Happened again, I know it was fixed for awhile this morning but while hunting it just stopped workin for me... had to battle danae to get it to stop.

Happened again about 5 mins after posting this. Right after Meph left
