Ok... Well today I ruined my perfect 0 deaths by spamming aaaaa instead of xxxxx.... and so I decide, "Hell, I'm a mage, I dont need to attack anyways." So I hit the 'ol f2 key and goto the hotkeys and delete the a for attack hotkey... bam quest crashes. Run time error 5
I tried reinstall, nothing.

Do you have any other programs running that might effect quest? Perhaps an old version of movequest?

I know from experience that movequest can cause RT error 5 if i dont calibrate it for the new versions. (speaking of which, i should release an updated version of it)

Try killing other programs that might be effecting quest and try again. And if all else fails, edit the config.ini file before running quest. All the hotkeys are in that file.

Also suggesting this gets moved to the bugs forum (and renamed to contain RT error 5 in the title)

the quickest way would be just to delete the config.ini file u had, and then try running quest.  if quest doesnt find a config.ini file, it creates a new one to use, otherwise it tries to use an old one

I dont like doing that unless i have to because i have all sorts of chat colors and whatnot sorted out...

besides he wanted some hotkeys, and for how often the F2 menu is used, what i suggested works... For a noob who needs to access the F2 menu, however, that would have likely been the suggested meathod of action.
