Its happened a few times now that people have tried to run quest on a vista machine and had issues. I decided to compile all the vista related information to one thread. If you have issues with quest not running on vista, please check the following. Those with vista if you could provide pictorial support that would be awesome.

Be an administrator
 - Pretty much a must with vista

Run program as administrator
 - Right click the client.exe, select run as administrator

Run in compatability mode for windows xp
 - right click / properties / compatability mode / windows xp

most of the time the above suggestions work. if you still have problems with vista here are some other suggestions:

Turn off the thumbnail toolbar view. I cant remember where it was, but theres an option to turn it off.

ensure that Vista's font and font size are set to Micosoft Sans Serif and size 8 (this can cause compatibility issues on some programs) and that your DPI is set to 96 (bigger or smaller will cause things to look a bit funky or not appear correctly at all).

Could also try downgrading from vista's version (3.0, I believe) of the .net framework to XP's default version (2.0, I believe)

If your problem STILL persists then provide a DETAILED discription of what is happening, and we will try to assist. If / When your problem is solved make sure to explain what you did so others with the same problem can receive help.

Change the default font styles to Micosoft Sans Serif and size 8

Note to self, spell Microsoft correctly before somebody quotes you with a new thread.
