I was thinking of this because of the add of the Durability and breakage to items mainly weapons and armors. I was thinking about some kindof of item refiner that allows you to render an item indestructable for a suitable fee. Now i know this might make the DUR thing like nothing again but u could make it a value of the level of item. Like a lvl 8 would be 500mil to make it indestructable, i know this seems alot but it's needed so Dur would still stand. I know a ton of people who have this kindof of money and yet don't have a super but use lvl 8s.

Thanks

it would need to be set pretty dang high to keep durability valid, but i like it, especially since if someone upgraded their wep or armor they might use it more than once.

I suggested in another thread having two types of items: "Limited" unrepairable items that have a fixed number of uses and then break for good, and "Unlimited" items that would be just like a regular level 8 rare that never needed repair and lasts forever. The limited rares would be maybe twice or three times as common as rares currently are (for example, 1 in 2000-3000 for level 8s), and Unlimited items would be significantly rarer than rares currently are, say 8x rarer. Limited items would have a random number of uses within a range, say 2,000-10,000, keeping in mind that a typical combat lasts 3-5 rounds).

Limited rares would have value because anyone without an unlimited rare would constantly need new ones. Unlimited rares would obviously have very significant value because it would save you the cost of having to keep buying new ones. Rares would retain their value much longer because the unlimited variety would be rarer, so most people would have to use limited rares. This, for a long time, would prevent the game from becoming saturated with rares that nobody ever uses.

Supers = Unlimited Rares
Everything else = Limited rares
