A finite number of clans existing at one time. Like *MAYBE* 25 at most. Not every single person needs to own a clan, and if they're ever going to become more than just novel storage facilities, this will make it much better. Plus then the whole 'buying and selling of clans' thing would factor in rather nicely.

I know many people are not going to like this, but for the gameplay purposes, this is actually a really good thing to implement. Many games out there do it successfully and have very competitive guild/clan wars because of it.

It's called progression.

Clan tags should be a symbol of pride and power, IMO.

Not stupid things like most clan tags are. BONK, NEWB, BEER, NUDE... C'mon.

OR you could make it if your tagged then and your clan is in the top 15% you get a stat bonus... say 15% stats added to every stat for 1st place, and 1% if your in 15th place...

It would encourage people to be tagged more, More competition between clans for the top slot, etc.
