I believe repair costs to currently, be unrealistic.

Walking stick - Buy cost: 20gp | Sell price: 10gp | Repair cost at 50 durability: Around 4k gold
Rare Artemis Bow - Rare Lv: 8 | Repair cost at 49 durability: 1517215gp
Rare Cerberus Hide - Rare Lv: 8 | Repair cost at 50 durability: around 128k (exact value will be posted when I need to repair)

Wait.. A walking stick costs over 400 times more to repair than to buy at 50 durability? And to sell it you get 1/2 the purchase price back!

An Artemis bow wielder battling (and using a 3HP, 1.28 strength, .72 dex build at around level 200) in Rothar in the spot that I currently like to use will not even make the cost of the bows repair back battling before need be to repair it, not to mention the armor that will also need to be repaired at around the same time!

At the very minimum, repair costs for shop weapons should be reduced. It would be nice to see the LV8 weapon prices drop a bit as well, considering it is anti-profitable to use rares in Rothar at a lower level..

i also agree it is pretty outrageously priced...
i'm leveling in velgrad and i had a time coming up with the gold
for the repair on the dsm and the arts bow i think there both 1.45mil a piece
at 50 durability to think how much it would cost if you got it down to 30 durability or less
well, anyway not trying to complain but i understand what hes saying...

thanks though for listening to my complaining Tongue

Always do.  Smiley

Armors cost almost nothing to repair, while rare weapons cost quite a large amount ;p
EX: 250k for a zero durability alexanders mantle as compared to, 4mil for a zero durability archi wand.

A little tweak goes a long way ;p

perhaps the costs will reduce the lower lvls using high lvl items....

picture this... you just started out. Somone gives you a archi wand and archi robes. Hey it could happen.

You lvl for a bit, but soon get bored because theres nothing to be achieved.

well now people can only use what they can afford... if this is low lvl items, so be it
perhaps items should have a repair cost stat or somthing... so each item type could have a set repair cost...
