RT error 5, invalid procedure call or argument

Im posting this on behalf of Ares. Hes having issues, this is the error.

Hes using win 2k, admin account, SP4, version 5.00.2195

Latest client version.

Its a rather old system, 128k ram. Would lack of ram perhaps be causing this problem? or would it be the med animations that were added?

_Ares_ and nschwaia:

Several people are reporting problems with their accounts since this new version.  When I try these accounts myself they work fine.  I'm not sure if it's at certain times or what.  I'm stumped...

In the past when people have reported this bugs it's usually because someone's account is corrupted: negative gold or negative HP which has to be corrected.

Please try different times of day and see if you can get in....

I'm restarting the Quest server now to see if that helps.

Perhaps its the config file?

There have been several problems with the new version and people's config files were to blame...

There was a problem in the client!  I was trying to force everyone's port to 27012 and it was creating the config.ini problem in the last release.   If you're getting a runtime error 13 when opening quest redownload the client upgrade now.  It should fix this error. If it still isn't fixed after redownloading and installing then delete your config.ini and then run Quest again.

You all probably don't remember me, but I'm a returning player and well.... i cant even get into the game run time error 5 comes up when i try to log in, ITS a log in problem, its not the Config. file or whatever...

i reckon its the meditation things you have added could you release another version without meditation sprites etc, just for us people who really wanna get into the game. what i mean is make 2 versions of the client (if that is possible to do and if it will work.) one with med stuff, another one without?
