Before you post here, please be careful not to post anything that dances on or around the picky topic of piracy. I'd hate to see Jouser get in crap because of us :/. However, I will suggest video.google.com seeing as how it searches itself and youtube. And my suggestions?

Hellsing
Flame of Recca/Recca's Flame
Cowboy Bebop
Fooly Cooly

Not much of an anime fan :\

Anime Suggestions:
Underground Tokyo
Initial D
Berserker
Trigun

Tokyo Underground -
The series tackles a world which is under Tokyo's underground railway system aptly called the Underground (地下世界, chika sekai). The people living there are called Elemental Users because they can manipulate various elements.

When the Priestess of Life, Ruri Sarasa (ルリ・サラサ), and her bodyguard, Gravity User Chelsea Rorec (チェルシー・ローレック) escape to the surface and take refuge with swordsman Rumina Asagi (浅葱留美奈 Asagi Rumina) and his bespectacled best friend Ginnosuke Isuzu (五十鈴銀之助 Isuzu Ginnosuke), the lives of the two boys are never the same after Rumina was killed during a battle with a henchman then resurrected by Ruri.

They find out that Ruri is a very important person in the Underground and is being pursued by evil powers there. Grateful for Ruri and his newfound Wind powers, Rumina vows to protect her, even if it means going to the Underground to rescue her from her eventual captors before she gets sacrificed.

Initial D -
The anime and manga focus on the world of illegal Japanese street racing, where all the action is concentrated in the mountain passes (峠, tōge?) and never in cities nor urban areas, and the drift racing style is emphasized in particular. Keiichi Tsuchiya (土屋圭市) helps with editorial supervision. The story is centered around the Japanese prefecture of Gunma (群馬), more specifically on several mountains in the prefecture and in and their surrounding cities and towns. Although some of the names of the locations the characters race in have been fictionalized all of the locations in the series are based on actual locations in Gunma Prefecture.

Berserk -
erserk's setting is inspired by medieval Europe. It centers around the life of Guts, an orphaned mercenary warrior, and his relationship to Griffith, the leader of a mercenary band called the Band of the Hawk (鷹の団, Taka no Dan?). Both the manga and anime are noted for their heavy violence.

Trigun -
Much of the damage attributed to "Vash" is caused by the activities of the bounty hunters who are after the $$60,000,000,000 reward on Vash's head for the destruction of a city called July. Vash does not clearly remember the destruction of July, and only wants "love and peace", as he puts it; though he is a gunfighter of inhuman skill, he uses his weapons only to save lives wherever he can.

Peace Maker Kurogane-
It is the closing time of the chaotic Edo Era (Japan, 1603-1868). In this time, some young people make a breakthrough in this era.

It is the first year of Genji (1864)*, March. A spring where cherry blossoms scatter and dance in the air of Kyoto. A single young man knocks at the door of the headquarters of the Mibu Shinsengumi (the newly established Mibu team). His name was Ichimura Tetsunosuke, aged 15. His personality, as his name suggests, is Teppoudama*

Unlike his height, Tetsunosuke possesses great will power and hopes to join the Shinsengumi to avenge his parents. He is allowed to join the team on the condition that he can win against the talented swordsman Okita Souji*. And so, Tetsunosuke challenges Okita.

"I want to become stronger."
Tetsunosuke, getting back up and fighting back no matter how many times he gets knocked down, earns him the admiration of Kondou Isamu* who allows him to join. However, the "oni"* vice captain, Hijikata Toshizou* refused to let him join saying, "The Shingumi will not have someone joining for vengeance."
One night, Tetsunosuke passes by the place where Okita was hiding and witnesses a ferocious battle. Hijikata leaves Tetsunosuke saying "Joining the Shingumi is just a way of becoming a demon."
Tetsunosuke stood still as he took in the painful reality that he must hold a sword and hurt people to become stronger.

However, in the falling rain, he asks Hijikata with Great Spirit, "I will not be afraid of demons. Make me into a demon." And so, it was how Tetsunosuke got consent from Hijikata to join the Shingumi.

Tetsunosuke faces many dark and cold battles as he worries about and watches over his brother Tatsunosuke who suffers from gastralgia. Together with Souji and the others of the Shingumi, they make a breakthrough in the closing of the Edo Era as an apprentice of Hijikata Toshizou... (Info from animenfo.com)

Basilisk-

Koga and Iga were ninja clans that had been fighting for 400 years. Gennosuke of Koga and Oboro of Iga, loved each other and promised to break down the cursed bond of conversion. However, they were destined to kill each other.
It was Keicho Era 19 (A.D. 1614), 73-year-old Ieyasu was wondering which of the brothers he should choose as a successor, Takechiyo or Kunichiyo. Takechiyo was the elder but he was stupid, while his younger brother Kunichiyo was clever. In order to choose the successor, Ieyasu decided to make Koga and Iga fight against each other. Both clans would choose ten best ninja to fight. If Kouga ninja survive, Kunichiyo would succeed to Shogun. On the hand, Takechiyo would become the next Shogun if Iga ninja win. Because Hattori Hanzo the first made them achieve a truce, they hadn't had an apparent fight for years. Therefore, when the truce was broken, they went for fights as if they were unleashed hound dogs. The only weapon they use were their own bodies. They had special abilities that men could hardly imagine.
Now that, the battles of twenty ninja including old, young, men, and women began. They made most of their special abilities to fight. During the harsh battles, they were killed one by one. Which would win, Koga or Iga? Who in the world would survive? Then, what would become of the love of Gennosuke and Oboro, who were separated by the battle. (animenfo.com)

Elfen Lied-
The diclonius (two-horned human) was a mutant created by humans. It had a special ability that could be described as a sixth sense.

The mutants had enough power to exterminate the whole human race. Humans being afraid of their powers, they were isolated into research labs to be studied.

One of the diclonius girls named Lucy broke out of confinement, killed the guards and escaped from the laboratory. She fell into the ocean after being shot and ended up on a beach. There she met Kota and Yuka, they named her Nyu and began to live with her. (animenfo.com)

Desert Punk-
The Great Kanto Desert
It is a desert of death where relics of the civilization, which fell hundreds years ago, stand like tombstones. It is severe place to live where it rises 50 degrees centigrade at noon, on the other hand, it becomes below zero degree at night.

Sunabozu is a handy man in the desert, and he is so to call a professional of the desert. He works only for the self-interest of the clients. In this desert, it is useless to work for the world or for others. The might that realize one's desire has been the only virtue here...until that time. (animenfo.com)

Star Ocean EX-
In an endless sea of stars, at the edge of the universe, a single fateful encounter is about to take place. For the gods have set forth on a quest to destroy the universe. And a deadly meteorite, which they hurled into the vastness of space, has collided with an unsuspecting planet, Expel - putting the wheels of fate into motion. Now, two people are about to cross paths, and their meeting will force them to endure both the gods and their devilish advisors. (animenfo.com)

Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation - Divine Wars-
No info on animenfo.com . I reccomend playing the two GBA games, Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation and Original Generation 2. SRT:OG DW follows up most of the story for SRT:OG, which happens to be an awesome strategy rpg.

Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation - The Animation-
Takes place after SRT:OG2. Play the GBA games...

s-CRY-ed-
In the near future, an unexplained phenomenon has occured on a distant island called "The Lost Grounds", giving birth to a new species of human. These evolved humans, called Alter Users, can manipulate matter and reform (or alter) it into unique forms. On this remote island, those born inside a walled city are citizens, while everyone born outside live lawless lives in the badlands. In an attempt to keep the peace the police force HOLD along with the elite alter-user squad HOLY capture dangerous native alter users and offer them a choice... join HOLY or be imprisoned. After young native alter user Kazuma's run-in with HOLY, questions arise. Is HOLY really interested in the good of all, or is there some other motive behind their actions?  (animenfo.com Also, if you're a fan of the guy that does Spike Spiegal's voice in Cowboy Bebop (Steve Blum), He voices the main character Kazuma.)

Matantei Loki Ragnarok-
A Northern European myth. A world full of the brilliance of mysteries and riddles. The main character Loki is the god of deception and mischievousness. For some reason, Loki changes into the form of a child to travel to the human world. There, together with a young girl who loves mysteries, they go through all sorts of experiences through time.

A mystery adventure Anime full of Northern European gods who disguise their appearances.
(animenfo.com Pretty much Case Closed with magic, and better characters...)

Outlaw Star-
Space is mainly inhabited by three different groups: the Federation, which is the real government; Various pirate clans, which use special techniques and magic to dominate the frontier; and the outlaws which are just about everywhere in between. There are also various alien races and empires which sort of fall within this category.

It is on this frontier where Gene Starwind and his 11-year old partner Jim Hawking, freelance bounty hunters and odd-job takers extraordinare, live and work. Until they happen to take a job from a mysterious woman named Hilda. In no time flat they're up to their ears in pirates desparate to get their hands on her and her secrets - an experimental spacecraft built using the pirate's knowledge and the Federation's technology, and information on the wherabouts of the Galactic Leyline. When Hilda is killed by the pirates, the ship is left to Gene. It's his ticket to freedom in space; and a big red flag for trouble, as every pirate and outlaw in the galaxy starts gunning for him.

Together with Jim, android and ship computer Melphena, ass-whooping metamorph Eisha Kurankuran, and the assasin Suzuka, Gene boldly steps force to face the future and discover the secrets behind the Galactic Leyline and his ship - the Outlaw Star.  (animenfo.com)

RahXephon[/i]-
In the year 2012, a mysterious organisation called "MU" suddenly attacks Tokyo.

At the time, Ayato Kamina is just a regular high school student. His father had passed away when he was young, and his mother works for the government. Ayato meets a mysterious woman named Reika Mishima and discovers the existence of the angel-winged giant robot, Rahxephon. Apparently, Rahxephon is synchronised with Ayato. Might he be the key to Japan's salvation?  (animenfo.com)

V Gundam[/i]-
Following Operation Stardust (see Gundam 0083), the Federation has created an elite force to hunt down renegade Zeons and suppress anti-Federation movements in the colonies. This group, the Titans, soon proves to be nothing more than a gang of jackbooted thugs. In UC 0085, Titans forces commanded by Colonel Bosque Ohm suppress a spacenoid demonstration at Side 1's "30 bunch" (its 30th colony) with deadly force; pumping nerve gas into the colony, the Titans kill the colony's 3 million inhabitants. Though the "30 Bunch incident" is successfully hushed up, word of the Titans' massacre spreads among the spacenoid resistance groups. The AEUG ("Anti-Earth Union Group"), a paramilitary force composed of both renegade Federal Forces members and former Zeon soldiers, dedicates itself to opposing the oppression of the Titans. Thanks to the backing of powerful corporations, in particular the moon-based Anaheim Electronics, this resistance group is able to amass a small but well-equipped force. In UC 0087, the AEUG makes its first move, entering the Titans' stronghold at Side 7 to investigate reports that a new Gundam project is under way...  (animenfo.com This is one of those "KILL EVERYONE!" animes.)

zare, i use www.animeepisodes.net to watch all the naruto and bleach episodes (even the new naruto shippuden epsiodes) the episodes are in japanese, but they have subtitles in english so u can follow along easily.  the website streams all the videos on its site, so u dont have to download them to watch them either. They have a lot of other animes there too, and keep adding more episodes every week (as long as u dont mind having to read subtitles (and I don't mind) )

As for the other animes mentioned, i have the complete episode sets of wild arms: twilight venom and desert punk, have seen all of s-cry-ed, a couple of episodes of elfen lied, about half of trigun, and like them all.

i also have the complete sets of "those who hunt elves :seasons 1 and 2", "saber marionette J" and the sequel "saber marionette j to x", and right now im watching/collecting the various episodes of "the law of ueki"

the funniest two of the collection are probably "those who hunt elves", and "desert punk", but since Kain already described desert punk here's a description I got from the same site fangreils used, animenfo.com for the those who hunt elves:

Those Who Hunt Elves
The story begins in a fantasy world, where three people Airi, Ritsuko and Junpei, have been mysteriously teteported ( along with a type 74 tank). Since their presence could cause chaos in their world, the Elves decided to send them back. The ceremony is performed by the Elves' slightly psychotic leader,Celsia Marie Claire. The ceremony goes well , except that, at the last minute, Junpei's unflattering comments push Celsia over the edge. Her focus is lost and the incantation vanishes, separated in fragments, which the gang will have to find if they want to go back to their world. The only problem is that the fragments are etched on the skin of Elves, who may not want to submit to the scrutiny of our friends. (from animenfo.com)

Basically its a funny PG rated anime that has the 3 main characters travelling a world of elves, stripping every female elf they can find to get back the missing spell pieces which appear as tattoos on 5 young female elves.  The two seasons are sort of the same goal, but its kind of hard to explain season two without spoiling season 1 at least a little. (some of this info was paraphrased from the dvd box descriptions)

I'll post later if I think of any other goo animes.

Oh yeah. Youtube also has...

Makai Senki Disgaea or Netherworld Battle Chronicle Disgaea in English

Two years ago, the Angel Trainee Flonne was sent to the Netherworld to assassinate King Krichevskoy. However, when she arrived at the Overlord's Castle, it was covered in flames. For the next two years, Flonne searched for her target, narrowing her search to a local dump. She found a coffin with Krichevskoy's emblem on it and tried to carry out the assassination. However, it turned out that it was not Krichevskoy, but his son Laharl. Learning that his father has died, Laharl set out to claim the title of Overlord for himself. Flonne and another demon by the name of Etna followed after him.(This one's mostly just humour. Little action, but good for a laugh. Laharl ftw!)
