Question: At 50% durability or less items should have a chance of one of the following: (please only pick one!)
Items should break. Less items = better. - 3 (15.8%)
Items should not break. Durability sucks - 3 (15.8%)
They should be un-equipped. And you cant equip an item witn no durability. - 4 (21.1%)
The potion idea sounds good - 3 (15.8%)
Low durability = half stats - 2 (10.5%)
durability is good, just remove the wait time - 4 (21.1%)

Ok i was chatting with jouser, and he seems stuck on the idea that items should have a chance to break after 50% durability. I made this poll to show him what the community would like.

How (i think) it is set to be...
At/after 50% druability, items can break, and vanish. You need to repair before the items hit 50% or you risk loosing your items. Supers dont take damage.

Suggestions...
Ok these are not all mine, lots of different suggestions are on this forum, like i said im trying to bring it all together.


I said:
"How bout mages without an equiped wepon or with a 0 durability wepon get 1/2 dmg?"
and:
"Once an item hits zero durability you can repair it, but it will no longer provide its #. Mods will still be goin'."

Whaddya think about those points?

I say unequip the item. It cant be equipped if it has 0 durability. If your invintory is full, pick an item to drop so you can unequip the equipped item.



What i am really trying to get across is.... i don't want items to break... please talk some sense into Jouser <.<

I don't like having rares/supers last longer before they lose durability...
However, they sure as hell will cost more to repair Wink

If my items broke, I would be devastated... forget that. We don't need anyone's hard earned/bought/traded items falling apart. Too much drama there.



What if...they broke without being destroyed?
yea, and when they break they are usless until you get them repaired, but when you repair them they cost more money.


Ok i was thinking.... not gonna quote it but nobody likes waiting lots of time for item repair. What if there was like, a potion you could buy... and this potion would have a set cost, maybe a couple of mills, buyable at the shop. And this potion didnt recover HP, but it would repair your weapon. It would use the same formula as the blacksmith, but multiply the cost by like 5x or somthing. So an item that used to cost 1 mill to get repaired now costs 5 mill, in addition to the 2 mills you paid for the potion, thats 7 mills for a repair that would normally cost you 1 mill... but heres the kicker. Its magic. No wait time. and you dont need to walk to town to get the item repaired.

If i missed your suggestion please let me know, and i can try to add it to the list.
