How hard would it be to sa who its from? i mean if ur gonna go mess with the code, save it, everyone goes out and dl's a new version, might as well tack on a few other "quick addons", dontchya think?

Easiest to implement for me/Jouser is a chat command:
/noGoldMessage
not saved in config or anything, just until you log off instead of getting the usual wiregold message, you just get the gold, no lost focus. A minimum threshhold would prevent it from stopping actual large sums of cash being noticed... So if the amount is > 100k, you still get the message.
any objections?
This takes care of the spamming gold problem but not the other. They idea was not to send any gold through at all. The person it happened to didnt want any help with items/gold at all and got bombed with quite a bit of gold. |

You don't get a message saying you got gold. It steals the focus to update the detailed stats as far as Rogue told me.

Maybe his computer hates him. Does it to me too. Also lowers my mp if I'm meditating. And occasionally lowers my health when walking or in combat. |

Now, I'm all for fixing the problem But please, explain to me how it could possibly cause death? It lowers my health in fights occasionally. Or it used to, a couple versions back, haven't really tested since then, but I was told it was fixed...although I know for a fact it still messes with things. I'd go look it up but I'm pretty sure the thread for that was in the old bugs forum and no longer exists :/ |

hey while your looking at the staling focus thing (is been a while since i checked this board) could you pelase look at trying to fix the meditate thing where it steals your words when your typing? that really gets annoying.
And maybe the PK thing too... like if theres a tournie and quest is minamized for some reason, it keeps stealing the focus whenever somone gets killed...
