I think the way registration is set up right now is pretty terrible.
First, the game goes to inform you that you must have a valid email because you will be emailed in ALL CAPS as in this is extremely urgent.
THEN You have to know to go searching the forums for the ACTUAL way to register (The home page simply links to a "password lookup", not a password registration so new users get thrown off when they don't receive their email thinking it is supposed to be automatic because it states nowhere that it ISN'T automatic except the forums.)
Most new users simply want to go play the game, then later they'll check out the forums.. maybe this is your way of getting people more involved in the community, it shouldn't be a journey to learn how to register..
That, and the fact that registration has been down for well over 40 hours now.
It seems as if you are trying to get rid of prospect players, rather than welcoming them to the game.

Not just new players! I've been saying it for years. They want us all gone.
But anyway. Yeah. It's a little confusing I guess. I never had a problem with it, but then, I've been seeing everything as sort of a gradual change whenever Jouser gets bored over the years, so the password emailer is pretty simple-looking to me.
The auto-pass thingy was taken out because it crashed the server or something. It should be back up...whenever it's up.
Sorry, that's about how it goes.

Mukan nothing is perfect, just give it time, Jouser is an extremely busy person he would love to get everything fixed right away but he does have a life to live of his own and sadly has time restraints on when and how to fix things, just please be paitent he will work everything out.

 Well, you have fun trying to be holier-than-thou and brown-nosing. I was simply stating what I saw as a flaw. I realize Jouser is busy, but a lot of the stuff I listed were valid points. Kthxbye.
