If I remember, it was Piggy's Pub.
Thousands were made and lost, back when a thousand was a lot. I think. Don't remember the economy back then, because you couldn't exactly trade very easily, no window and all.

jack you could gain gold, but the pecentages are against you. Unless it was a game of skill instead of a game of chance, theres more probabilit that your going to lose than that of you winning.

There was gambling at the pub and I seem to remember a lottery back in the day. I DO remember that the only way you could trade was by having people stash stuff in your house and then coming out and picking it up

I'd like to top this again Not just as a goldsink, but to have something to do when nobody is logged in or talking. Just something to do other then killing mobs. To keep people ingame

Remember when ronin and I revived the lottery and kept something ridiculous like 50% of the ticket earnings and gave 50% to the winner? That was awesome. For my purse.I mean, um, yeah. Lotteries are fun. I did eventually want to actually code it in, but it was so far backburnered with the real new content that I never got around to it.
