Thanks for answering a question no one asked. My explanation included my reasoning and your response didn't address that at all.

Here's my two cents on this issue. What if there is someone on who you are trying to help?
Most new people ask for help before its even offered.
Or what if there is someone on who you don't like and you wish to berate them everytime they die?
Just cause you don't like someone doesnt mean you should do this. Its causes problems most of the time.
Now imagine the first scenario coupled with this - there is someone on trying to get to the top of the death list... oh no! You can't do both!
Most new people dont even know about the lists yet so the chances of this are low. As far as people wanting to get onto the list by dying purposely. I think this  is not the way to get there although if they want to then having a censor of sorts would help them do that without annoying everyone in game.
Having a blanket filter doesn't seem like a good idea... to me anyway. Why not instead, have someone's recycling into the earth be blocked by ignoring them as well as everything else that comes along with that package of comfort?
Although i like that "package of comfort" expanding the current ignore feature to include the recycled phrase wouldnt help any of the QO's out. I myself find it very annoying seeing the "?? has been recycled" phrase over and over. When its a new person it usually isnt that bad. Its when you get those people who are trying for the list thats jusy horribly annoying. QO can't/don't choose to put people on ignore for certain reasons. I think having it as a separate censor would be better. Or even as a sensor where you can pick the options of what to sensor out and what not to.

I have a few rebuttals, however I was unaware of the QO issue and understand exactly where you're going with it. Taking that into account, I concede.

I like sam's idea...cept you could like ignore certain features about that user, like global chat, PM or death message Tongue

Different opinions are good though..no need to concede. Never know different opinions and suggestion could lead to one that everyone can agree on.

Well, I believe the good ideas that I had to contribute were (completely rough estimates, no thought went into these...) 50% spoken, considered, and remembered while the other 50% was adequately stomped by the fact that QO's need to see things. That's really all I meant. I'm conceding the side of this where our opinions get in the way when really opinions are not so easily substituted for facts.
