Our computer's screwed up. I'm typing this from another compy. We had our electrical outlets switched this morning, but when we got the computer plugged back in, the keyboard and mouse wouldn't work. At all. Anyways, looks like I'm out for awhile.

unplugging / replugging a computer wouldnt cause the keyboard/mouse to stop working... however the power cord is real close to the ports for the keyboard / mouse... i suggest unplug/replug the devices and they should work  |

Jon, don't you think we've tried that? No, I found something out(I wasn't very well informed yesterday). It seems the computer won't power up at all, so it's pretty obvious what the problem is. Now the problem happens to deal with $$$. Anyways, it may be awhile yet ._.

Okay, mother board = fried. Apparently the idiot people who changed our outlets plugged the computer back in before turning the breaker back on. We're looking at $190, and I don't know about you guys, but that's a nice chunk of change for our family.

Yeah, kyo, we thought that at first, too. But it's the motherboard. Fortunately, we could actually get one for 110-120$, which is a good help. Although, whether we get it this coming week or later depends on other expenses.

Um, you could probably get a motherboard much cheaper than that. What chipset/processor/company and what are you needing it to do? (This is considering I could probably find it for ~$30-100, depending on the specs.)

I rarely play BS anymore as it is, dude... I only get on when my connection to Battle.net gets severed and I can't play Frozen Throne online for a few minutes. >.< No. Give me a dollar and i'll reconsider. >=(
