Ok so i reinstall windows, and i try to run quest off my memory stick. Strangely enough, it doesnt want to see the quest server, and i check the status, quest is down. not a surprise. however, the window didnt look just right... see below...

ok ya im using the modified images, but hey theyre cool. anyways, note the black space... thats not normal. never had a problem with this before...

then i log in. thats like, 2 minutes ago. it didnt work. well it sort of did, but not really... again, note the pic...

no i didnt crop it, and no the web browser is not playing games with you. the main map was huge, and i could hardly do anything. heck, i couldnt even press quit! lol.

No i was not using the res program i made, or any other programs. this just started happening since i reinstalled the computer.

so the logical thing would be to download quest again, right? wrong. i go to download it, and get problems there... tells me that quest needs to be upgraded, and sends me to http://quest.dfxwebs.com/index.php?quest=download

Wait a minute... isnt the quest main page www.questrpg.org? well lets it forum see if i can come here to make a complaint... nope sends me to MB's forum. so go to the address bar and type out www.questrpg.org/forum... and start writing this up.

Yes i changed my qms_server to depression.homeip.net, and that would cause me not to connect, not the grafix issues. And why is new installations not saying that they are the latest version? im confused... and very tired... so im gonna post this and go to bed...

get the install from http://questrpg.org/index.php?quest=download
try a fresh install in a different directory
do not use different pics
try not to run it from a memory stick
try if that works

change your DPI to the default setting (96, I think)

Control Panel -> Display ->Settings Tab -> Advanced Button -> DPI Setting

ok so i got quest to run, but having my screen at 90 dpi just wont do... anyone know how i can have my screen at 120 dpi and run quest at 90 dpi?

maybe i will have to make some sort of program to do this lol. I been thinking of how i could make it so its easy to move the quest window... anyways if i come up with anything, i will post it, and if anyone has any ideas let me know.
