Hm... Maybe a magic skill that does damage and heals MP... Kind of like Vampiric Bite, but MP instead of HP. =3 It would cut down on meditation for those who get mad about the meditation cut offs in chats. ^^

That and i dont think a spell that heals MP would make much of any sense at all... wouldnt exactly be a spell...

FFXI has one, it is called Refresh.  It is what makes red mages so in demand.

Sounds more like MP Leach than refresh/recharge type spell.

Vamp is asking for a spell that does damage and leaches MP, from what I got of it, not a spell that heals MP.

Osmose -> FFVI   I think that was the spell's name, is sort of the idea. It does damage, and gives back MP. Of course in the case of Osmose it did MP damage to regenerate MP.

Essentially, a low damage/cost spell that returns a small amount of MP to the caster. If too powerful it'd further unbalance mage vs. fighter leveling. Think about it for a second.

And something weak really wouldn't be worth it. Maybe something in the middle?

EQ also has something like that. Line of spells called Mana Tap (Drain mana from you're opponent, much like Osmose) and then wizards get a line called Harvest where they gain a set amount of MP back, but can't move/cast spells/attack for 12 seconds or so after casting it.

What if it used HP... like sack HP for MP and damage... 1 hp = 1 mp and 1 damage... drains half your HP.
