A few *simple* suggestions to make this game 100000x better.

1.  Move the hedge back o.o my screen is hideous at 1024x768 and I want to keep my resolution at 1280x1024 but cant if I want to play.  Half the time I want to play I dont bother because Ide have to change the resolution.

2.  PK TOURNIES!  ARG!  THE HORROR!  The game constantly demands focus when they are going on, so I cannot chat on MSN/AIM or anywhere else!  I was trying to write a forum post earlier when one started and I couldnt even get 2-3 words done before the game stole focus again.

3.  Free cookies.

You are make hedge around town go boom now. Logging in and being stuck FTL. Make it disappear.

(this is quite possibly Lyr btw, I can't be bothered to log out and back in)

another comment on ur #1 is that i use the setting 1152x864 and it works fine with quest.  apparently any higher than that is when u get problems

Make the second problem not be alive anymore. You don't have to kill it, just make it not alive.

Today I realized that it wasnt just durring PK tournies the game steals focus, but rather whenever someone is PK'ed.  Maybe that info will make it get fixed earlier... I hope =/

Ok unless a QO wants to object im gonna try to bring back my computer skills to make a prog that will make quest 1024X768 resolution. I searched the internet and didnt see much that would be hepfull, so here i am making somthing to suit my needs.

Anyways i cant guarentee that it will work, and i cant be sure that the QO's wont condemn the idea, but if everything works out i will post a link to the fruits of my labours in about a week. that should give anyone time to object before i do somthing dumb. lol. 

anyways, theres my band-aid solution untill jouser gets the resolution issue fixed. Running quest at 1680 X 1050 is hidious, so i feel your pain.

that's fixed too, or at least it is for me, the whole thing appears to have shifted ever so slightly

my 1400x1050 still throws me in the hedge while logging in (yay for flying )

Well i didnt know until like last week that QO's could teleport people...

And it is a bother to need to find a QO when nobody's online... ya im on at like 2:00 AM and hardly anyone is alive then, let alone QO's. So no offence, but thats not always gonna work.

ok 2 things...

Firstly, some computers with large, highres screens look really crappy at lower resolitions. Just really, really bad. Put your screen at 400 x 300 resolution and you know what im talking about.

Changing the screen res is a bother... desktop icons get messed up, its just annoying.

My GPU and LCD monitors are too powerfull to run 800x600 well.  They really hate running any resolution that is smaller then 1280x1024 because they like to have good performance.

thats my point. some people just cant do it. So the prog that i made would really help. anyways its off to jouser (i talked to him like 5 mins ago and soon as i get the heads up that its good to go, its gonna get to you people... im really trying to get this thing out because i personally am tired of spawning in bushes or off the map.


Res prog is done and released, in case anyone missed it... on the general chat forum somewhere.... use the search and look for movequest. thats what i named it.
