I know there is better than both out there, especially than Intel. Just wondering what everyone thought. Oh by the way, hello everyone. Personally I prefer AMD.

AMD. It's what I'm using now, and my preference.

firstly, when I started both weren't there yet I think Smiley
I liked the IBM cpu's and co-processors, there math processor was one of a kind!

Then Intel started to kick ass all of a sudden with the P1 .. specially the ones with MMX!!! (I still have a P1 166MHz with MMX Smiley )
after that AMD started to get beter and also price/quality was way better (AMD K2/350 for example)
AMD rocked for a long time but INTEL gained on them with the P4 and the race to 3 GHz

Intel has been my favorite for a while in that period.
but now ... with the AMD64 cpu's they are way better.
We build only intel systems at work and I only built AMD systems for my private "buisines"
Mine are just so much faster and more reliable.

I now have a AMD 3700+ on a Asus A8N 32-SLI-Deluxe, 2 GB of RAM and just added a Asus AEX 1300 pro silent VGA card (256MB)
It's the most stable system I ever had!

I use my computer to heat my house.  AMD all the way!

XD  Never thought I would poke fun at AMD.
